About the event
Living a Zero Waste Life (Or Trying To!)
Join us for an engaging and practical look at reducing waste at home and in everyday life.
To start the evening we will ear from a local zero waste advocate as they share an honest take on their journey towards a low-waste lifestyle, from veg boxes to second-hand clothes, highlighting both the successes and the challenges along the way.
Expect plenty of simple, realistic tips to help you cut waste, save money, and make more sustainable choices.
You’ll also hear from the Gloucestershire Recycles team at Gloucestershire County Council, who will explore local initiatives designed to help you go beyond the bin. From repair cafés and rental schemes to refill shops, second-hand buying, and choosing lower-waste packaging, they’ll showcase accessible ways to reduce clutter and consumption. Drawing on research from Keep Britain Tidy, they’ll also share insights into why reducing waste matters…
