Coombe - Hedge and Tree Planting

Join us on Sunday 18th January, 10am–12pm for a morning of hedge and tree planting in Coombe. This hands-on session is a great opportunity to support local wildlife, improve the landscape, and spend time outdoors as part of the community.

The gateway to the field can be found using What3Words: quail.input.flick. Please note that parking is limited and available on Coombe Lane above the field, so consider car sharing where possible.

Site Specific Information

The site is relatively flat and the hedge and tree planting is close to where cars will be parked. Wellington boots or sturdy walking boots advised!  Please bring a spade suitable for planting saplings; a small border spade is ideal.  Good gardening gloves are useful and please bring eye protection as we will be using canes to support the saplings and particularly for the plastic removal where there will be low hanging branches.
