Passivhaus - low energy building design

Buildings  are a significant culprit for carbon emissions – accountable for 35% of  total global energy consumption. Passivhaus is a solution that offers a  range of approaches to deliver net-zero-ready new and existing  buildings. Our guest speaker Louise Ciotti is a senior lecturer in  architecture, retrofit and conservation at UWE in Bristol, and co-runs  an architectural company in Gloucestershire. This fascinating talk will  provide an introduction to the Passivhaus standard as a whole-building  approach to low-energy buildings.
