About the event

The People’s Emergency Briefing

The People’s Emergency Briefing is a 50-minute film exploring the impacts of climate change on the UK. Based on presentations by nine experts at the National Emergency Briefing in November 2025, the film premiered in April 2026 and features the experts explaining the likely impacts of climate change, alongside reactions from members of the public and well-known figures.

The screening will be followed by a facilitated discussion about what climate change means for Wotton-under-Edge and the surrounding area, how it could affect our local community, and what we can do in response.

Please note: The film is not suitable for under-16s.
