Stinchcombe Play Area - Hedge Planting

Join us on Sunday 1st February, 10am–12pm for a community hedge planting session at the newly built Stinchcombe Play Area, located near the church.

This is a beautiful, sheltered spot and a lovely place to spend a winter morning helping to enhance the local environment.

The location can be found using What3Words: storage.overpower.exclusive. All volunteers are welcome—please dress for outdoor work and the weather.

The site is relatively flat and the hedge and tree planting is close to where cars will be parked. Wellington boots or sturdy walking boots advised!  Please bring a spade suitable for planting saplings; a small border spade is ideal.  Good gardening gloves are useful and please bring eye protection as we will be using canes to support the saplings and particularly for the plastic removal where there will be low hanging branches.

Snacks will be provided but please do bring your own drinks.
