About the event

Join Wotton Area CAN for a friendly and informal evening dedicated to all things local, environmental, and sustainable. This relaxed social gathering is a great opportunity to meet like-minded people, share ideas, and discover what’s been happening in our community around climate action and sustainability.

We’ll kick off the evening with a screening of the short documentary Balancing the Scales - a powerful and visually stunning film that explores the fascinating relationship between beavers and migratory fish. Through expert insights and inspiring imagery, it reveals both the challenges and the hope that come with restoring balance in our modern ecosystems.

After the film, enjoy a drink and a chat with fellow locals, and find out what the Wotton Area CAN team has been working on — plus what’s planned for the year ahead.

Whether you’re deeply involved in environmental projects or simply curious to learn more, everyone is welcome!
